Open Windows Foundation is a free library and learning center that provides after school programs, children’s activities, "Básico" scholarships and teen center. The Foundation also has a computer laboratory for disadvantaged children of San Miguel Dueñas.

There are 1700 children inscribed now. There are five paid employees, one Peace Corps Volunteer and several long term US
